Which van lock options should I choose if my van is Left Hand Drive
A lot of our customers from Europe and the USA often ask us which options they should choose regarding the cab and sliding doors on their van
In the UK our vans are Right Hand Drive which usually means that the Drivers Door is on the right hand side when you are sitting in the van. This also means that the sliding door is usually on the passenger/left hand side of the van if it has a single sliding door
In Europe and the USA the Drivers door is usually on the Left hand side of the van when you are sitting inside the van. This also means that the sliding door is usually on the right hand side of the van when sitting inside a van with a single sliding door. This is usually also known as the kerbside
The rear doors usually have no difference if the van is LHD or RHD
The options for our locks are geared towards UK customers which are our primary market
So if you are in Europe, the USA or you have a van that is left hand drive you would need to choose Passenger Door if you would like a lock for your drivers door and you would need to choose Drivers Sliding Door to get a lock for your Passenger Sliding Door
